Crafted from exclusive Yinxin Zisha clay, also known as purple clay and discovered during the Northern Song Dynasty (1000-1200 A.D.) in China, these pieces offer superior insulation and enhance beverage flavors and aromas. When fired, Zisha clay develops a fine, sandy texture that retains heat better than ordinary ceramics and absorbs traces of the beverage. Usage

- Add medium-ground coffee to the pot and fill with hot water. Place the lid on but avoid pressing the plunger.

- Allow the coffee to brew for a few minutes, then slowly press the plunger all the way down to serve.

- The Purple clay press absorbs the coffee aroma over time.

- Can also be used for brewing tea, following the same steps as for coffee.

- Hand wash with a sponge and water; avoid using detergent.

- Disassemble the filter if coffee grounds get stuck.

- After washing, wipe the surface with a cloth and air dry. Ensure the press is completely dry before storing in a cool, dry place.

Care

- Do not use in the microwave or oven.

- Do not heat directly.

- Bamboo parts are not dishwasher safe.

- Handle with care.
